Cranberry cook-off set for September

A Cranberry Fest Cook-off for the general public is being held at the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center in Eagle River on Saturday, September 29.

This contest will feature five categories: Breads and muffins, desserts, meat/main dishes/side dishes, salad/sauces/spreads, and etceteras (appetizers, soups, beverages, snacks, candies). First place in each category will receive $25, second place $15 and third place $10, with ribbons also being awarded.

Your recipe must accompany each entry on an 8 1/2” x 11” white piece of paper and will become the property of the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center for future events and/or publication. A completed entry form must also be included. All entries must be checked into the Chamber of Commerce between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on the day of the contest.
