Circle of Excellence awards recognize hospital employees
This year, 88 people from Sacred Heart-Saint Mary's Hospitals (SHSMH) were nominated for the annual Circle of Excellence Award. All nominees were recognized by Hospital President, Monica Hilt at an awards ceremony held August 8 at Saint Mary's Hospital. "The selection committee had a very tough decision to make this year, there were so many great efforts demonstrated by our employees," said Hilt. "The staff at SHSMH provides outstanding care to our patients, families and visitors. Those nominated represent us all in our ongoing efforts to be the best." Jack Sutliff, Chief Financial Officer and Jill Spieckerman, RN, Manager of Patient Care Services were also in attendance to congratulate all nominees and award recipients.
The Circle of Excellence recognizes employees and volunteers whose efforts stand out for work done on a particular project or initiative-exceeding the expectations of their daily work. Nominations are based on five Long Term Objectives that embody the mission and values of Sacred Heart-Saint Mary's Hospitals, part of Ministry Health Care.
The following individuals were selected as the recipients of this year's Circle of Excellence Awards:
