Keith A. Heise
Keith A. Heise, age 75, of Rhinelander, died on June 25, 2006, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 22, 1931, in Rhinelander, to August and Othelia (Thompson) Heise.
Keith attended schools in Rhinelander graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1954. He married Rita Demask on October 22, 1955. Keith was employed by the Rhinelander Paper Company as a pipefitter for 38 years, retiring in 1993.

He was known for his storytelling and his ability to make others laugh. He also was an avid Hodag sports enthusiast and had the opportunity to announce many games for the radio broadcast with his son John. His greatest joy, however, came from the time spent with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Agnes Huber and Mavis Kupfer and his two brothers Franz "Bud" and Donald.
A memorial service will be held for Keith at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish-St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Michael Harvey officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until just before the services on Wednesday, June 28, 2006.
